Job Description

Responsibilities

High Ownership. High Growth. Real Impact.

At Nexxu Group, Human Resource isn't just a support function here, it is a key driver of how our business grows.

As a Human Resource Executive/ Sr. Executive, you will play an important role in building a high-performing organisation by improving processes, supporting our people, and ensuring our HR operations run efficiently.

This role is designed for someone who enjoys solving problems, taking ownership, and continuously improving the way things are done. Rather than simply maintaining existing processes, you'll have the opportunity to identify improvements, implement better practices, and contribute directly to the company's growth.

If you're looking for a role where your ideas are valued, your decisions matter, and your career can grow alongside the business, we'd love to hear from you.

Why Join Us

Joining Nexxu Group means becoming part of a growing organisation where your ideas, initiative, and contributions genuinely matter.

When you join us, you'll have the opportunity to:

  • Take ownership of meaningful HR projects and process improvements.
  • Work closely with management and business leaders across multiple departments.
  • Gain exposure to the full employee lifecycle instead of focusing on a single HR function.
  • Build practical experience in HR operations, recruitment, compliance, payroll, employee engagement, and organisational development.
  • Grow your career in a fast-paced company where initiative, accountability, and continuous improvement are recognised and rewarded.

What You'll Be Responsible For

Drive Better HR Operations

  • Continuously improve HR policies, procedures, and operational workflows to support business growth.
  • Ensure HR practices comply with Malaysian employment laws, statutory requirements, and company policies.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and strengthen the overall employee experience.
  • Support HR projects and digitalisation initiatives that enhance the effectiveness of HR operations.

Recruit Great People

  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing and screening candidates to coordinating interviews and onboarding.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand manpower requirements and hiring priorities.
  • Deliver a professional and positive candidate experience throughout the hiring journey.
  • Support workforce planning and talent acquisition initiatives across the Group.

Support the Employee Journey

  • Manage employee records and HR documentation throughout the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, confirmation, transfers, promotions, and offboarding.
  • Administer employee benefits, leave, insurance, and other HR programmes accurately and confidentially.
  • Respond to employee enquiries professionally while supporting a positive workplace culture.

Ensure Accurate Payroll & Compliance

  • Manage monthly payroll and statutory submissions accurately and on time.
  • Ensure compliance with EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB, employment legislation, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and resolve payroll or employment-related matters when required.

Turn HR Data into Better Decisions

  • Prepare HR reports and dashboards covering recruitment, headcount, turnover, attendance, and other workforce metrics.
  • Analyse HR data to identify trends, operational gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide timely insights and recommendations to support management decision-making.

Contribute Beyond Your Core Role

  • Participate in cross-functional projects that improve business operations and employee experience.
  • Support general workplace administration and coordinate with relevant vendors or service providers whenever required.

What We're Looking For

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Human Resources, preferably in HR Operations or Generalist functions.
  • Practical knowledge of Malaysian Employment Act, payroll administration, and statutory requirements.
  • Experience using HR systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Mandarin proficiency is preferred due to the business need to communicate with counterparts in China.

Who Will Thrive Here

We're looking for someone who:

  • Takes ownership and follows through with accountability.
  • Thinks beyond daily tasks and looks for better ways of doing things.
  • Enjoys solving problems and improving processes.
  • Communicates confidently with people at all levels.
  • Works with integrity, professionalism, and discretion.
  • Is adaptable, resourceful, and eager to learn.
  • Stays organised and pays attention to detail.
  • Manages multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Wants to build a long-term career while growing with the company.

Our Culture

At Nexxu Group, we value initiative, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

We believe great ideas can come from anyone, regardless of title. If you identify a better way of doing something, you'll be encouraged to share your ideas and help turn them into reality.

We're building a workplace where people are trusted to make decisions, supported in their development, and recognised for the value they create.
