What the day will look like

Deliver Financial & Business Growth Objectives

• Focus on growing the FSPG portfolio and increasing market share year-on-year.
• Work closely with the Sales team, Business Heads, and Cluster Heads to bring value, initiate client conversations, and develop client acquisition strategies.
• Maintain oversight of the FSPG department's renewal business portfolio.
• Conduct placements and renewal presentations for existing clients.
• Ensure renewal retention rates remain above 95%.
• Drive organic growth, cross-selling, and upselling initiatives, targeting 5% growth over the previous year.
• Complete monthly reporting and contribute to the annual budget planning process.

Client Management/Satisfaction

• Drive and achieve client service, claims management, and advocacy objectives across existing clients and new client acquisitions.
• Develop growth and expansion opportunities within existing client portfolios.
• Provide risk advisory and consultancy services to existing clients and prospects, with a focus on FSPG and Cyber solutions.
• Identify client needs and requirements, and tailor insurance solutions to meet those needs.
• Contribute to the development of thought leadership materials, marketing collateral, and white papers relating to FSPG and Cyber solutions.
• Develop broking and placement strategies in collaboration with carriers/insurers.
• Partner with insurers to design tailored insurance solutions while advocating for clients' best interests.

Aon OpEx metrics

• Ensure compliance with the Aon Client Promise, Asia Brokers Guide, Contract Certainty, Data Quality Management, Invoice Performance, Overdue Renewals, Time Recording System, Commission Grid Variance Approval Process, and Fee Review Process.
• Improve receivables aged over 60 days through local KPI management and ensure timely, accurate monthly and quarterly reporting, including forecasts, pre-close estimates, and revenue walks.
• Drive client profitability and minimise the impact of profit destroyers through effective use of the profitability scorecard and escalation process.

Execute Aon United Blueprint

• Deliver Aon United by supporting the execution of Aon United Growth Plays.
• Support the in-country Aon Business Services (ABS) agenda and work closely with the CPU team on invoicing and operational processes for FSPG Solutions, while ensuring strong data quality management.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

Education & Qualifications

• Degree in any discipline, preferably LL.B, Economics, Actuarial Science, Business Administration, or ACII
• Mature individual with 5–10 years of experience in the insurance industry as a broker and/or underwriter
• Fluent in English and proficient in Bahasa Malaysia

Skills & Knowledge

• Strong technical knowledge of Financial Specialties insurance
• Demonstrated proactive and goal-oriented mindset in previous roles
• Experience in scheme management and handling large, complex risks would be an added advantage
• Good understanding of insurance across multiple lines of business
• Independent, positive, and self-motivated individual
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Good computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
