Key Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and provide evidence-based intervention for patients with communication, speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patients' rehabilitation goals.
• Educate and counsel patients, families, and caregivers on therapy strategies and home programmes.
• Collaborate with rehabilitation physicians and the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and prepare progress reports.
• Participate in case discussions, quality improvement initiatives, and professional development activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Speech Therapy / Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution.
• Eligible for registration with the relevant professional body (where applicable).
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Candidates with rehabilitation or hospital experience will have an added advantage.
• Good communication, interpersonal, and clinical reasoning skills.
• Passionate about patient-centred rehabilitation and able to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Pay: RM5,000.00 per month
