Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities:
1) When is required Monitor and manage all inventory control activities, including replenishment, pick-face management, stock transfers, cycle counts, and inventory adjustments to ensure physical and system stock accuracy.
2) Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and timely updating of inventory records within the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
3) Conduct routine inventory audits and validation checks to ensure all stock movements are accurately recorded and supported by proper documentation.
4) Plan, coordinate, and execute cycle counts, stock takes, customer audits, and annual inventory exercises.
5) Investigate inventory discrepancies, stock variances, and customer complaints, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
6) Monitor inventory performance indicators and prepare inventory accuracy reports, variance reports, and customer inventory reports.
7) Support WMS operations, including troubleshooting, issue resolution, process enhancement, and user support.
8) Coordinate closely with warehouse operations, customer service, and IT teams to ensure inventory-related activities are executed efficiently.
9) Conduct training and coaching for warehouse personnel on inventory control procedures, stock handling, and WMS processes.
10) Support inventory setup, SKU master data maintenance, and system configuration for new customer onboarding and business transitions.
11) Monitor pallet inventory, returnable assets, and inventory movement controls in accordance with customer and company requirements.
12) Ensure proper inventory documentation, audit records, and SOPs are maintained and updated. 13) Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance inventory accuracy, productivity, and operational efficiency.
Requirements:
1) Diploma/Degree in Logistics & Supply Chain Management, Warehouse Management, or related field.
2) Minimum 2–3 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or logistics environment.
3) Experience in a Third-Party Logistics (3PL) or contract logistics environment is preferred. Experience managing inventory for multiple customers and diverse product categories is an added advantage.
4) Hands-on experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory reporting tools.
5) Strong knowledge of inventory control principles, stock reconciliation, cycle counting, and inventory audit processes.
6) Good understanding of warehouse operations and inventory flow management.
7) Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and accountability.
8) Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced logistics environment.
9) Familiarity with customer inventory reporting and service level requirements within a 3PL operation is preferred
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
