Role Overview:
We’re looking for a driven, people-savvy Junior Business Development Executive to help grow our client base. You’ll support your Supervisor in reaching out to prospects, building relationships, and turning leads into real opportunities — a great foot in the door for anyone who enjoys the thrill of the chase and wants to grow into sales.
What You’ll Do:
- Identify and research potential clients to build a healthy sales pipeline.
- Reach out to prospective clients through calls, emails, LinkedIn, and meetings.
- Support the preparation of proposals, presentations, and client pitches.
- Coordinate with internal teams to develop suitable solutions for clients.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and follow-up activities.
- Represent the company at client meetings, networking events, and industry activities when required.
What We’re Looking For:
Core Skills:
- Fluent in English, spoken and written; conversational Bahasa Malaysia is a plus; Mandarin is a bonus.
- Confident starting conversations with new people and building rapport quickly.
- Comfortable with basic research — sizing up companies, industries, and competitors.
- Organised to keep track of multiple leads and follow-ups without losing the thread; Detail-oriented when it comes to tracking leads and following up on time.
- Basic proficiency in tracking leads and pipeline.
- Resilient and self-motivated — not discouraged by a “no.”
Experience:
- Fresh graduates or up to 2 years of experience in sales, business development, or a client-facing role.
- Prior exposure to cold outreach or client communication is an advantage but not required.
