WE'RE HIRING: Accounts Payable (Korean Speaker)

Work Mode: Hybrid

Eligibility: Only Malaysian citizens or PR holders

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable (Korean Speaker) to join our Finance Shared Services team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting end-to-end Accounts Payable operations, including invoice processing, payments, vendor master maintenance, and case resolution.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Invoice Processing

  • Process assigned invoices accurately within the required turnaround time (TAT).
  • Perform statement reconciliations.
  • Follow up on parked documents for timely resolution.
  • Process invoice reversals and corrections.
  • Resolve blocked invoices.
  • Process recodes received from stakeholders.


Payments

  • Create payment proposals according to the payment schedule.
  • Perform duplicate invoice checks before payment processing.
  • Audit payment proposal and payment exception reports.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to resolve payment exceptions.
  • Forecast payment values to the Treasury team.
  • Maintain payment transit evidence for audit and compliance purposes.


Vendor Master

  • Create, update, and maintain vendor master records in the system.
  • Research and validate vendor information.
  • Follow up with requesters or vendors to resolve discrepancies.
  • Track all work-in-progress vendor creations and modifications.


Case Resolution Center (CRC)

  • Review and manage Level 1 pending cases.
  • Follow up on Level 2 in-progress and pending cases.
  • Ensure accurate completion of all required case information.
  • Respond to newly assigned emails promptly.
  • Create cases for incoming requests.
  • Close resolved cases in accordance with SLA requirements.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Fluency in Korean and English (spoken and written) is mandatory.
  • Knowledge of Accounts Payable processes and ERP systems (SAP experience is an advantage).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience working in a Shared Services or Global Business Services (GBS) environment.
  • Understanding of AP controls, compliance, and audit requirements.
  • Strong customer service mindset and attention to detail.
  • Experience handling multinational clients is an advantage.
