Technical Proficiency

Proficient In BIM Software Such As

  • Autodesk Revit (Structural and Architectural train)
  • Navisworks
  • AutoCAD

Ability to Prepare

  • 3D BIM models
  • Shop drawings
  • Construction sequencing models
  • Clash detection reports
  • As-built models

Knowledge Requirements

  • BIM Execution Plans (BEP)
  • LOD requirements
  • Coordination workflows
  • Document control systems
  • Understanding of architectural, structural, and M&E drawings
  • Construction methodology
  • Local standards and codes
  • Singapore authority requirements, including:
  • Building and Construction Authority (BCA)B
  • HDB BIM requirements
  • Integrated Digital Delivery (IDD) requirements

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in HDB PBU projects will be an advantage.

Soft Skills

  • Good coordination and communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong problem-solving ability
  • Ability to coordinate with consultants and site teams
  • Good time management to meet submission deadlines

Typical Responsibilities

  • Develop and update BIM models
  • Produce drawings from BIM models
  • Coordinate with consultants and subcontractors
  • Detect clashes and resolve model issues
  • Support site construction using BIM information
  • Prepare authority submissions and shop drawings

Requirements

  • Formally trained in BIM (Diploma or Training Certification)
  • A firm foundation in drawing creation – BIM, Revit, Navisworks, Sketch-up, AutoCad software / computer-aided design (CAD) and general computer skills.
  • Possess at least 2 years of BIM coordination or BIM management experience in a design, engineering or construction firm of a large project.
