The Role:
To support the Trade & Pricing team in managing daily pricing, deadfreight administration, BSA allotment, and commercial coordination activities to ensure smooth trade operations and maximise revenue opportunities.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Pricing Management

• Prepare quotations in accordance with approved pricing guidelines.
• Support daily pricing enquiries from Sales.

2. BSA Planning & Capacity Management

• Provide BSA adjustment before commencement of each cycle.
• Coordinate with LMD and local offices to optimise utilisation.

3. Deadfreight(DF) Administration

• Administer Deadfreight(DF) contracts, BAF updates, billing, filing, and invoice tracking.

4. System& Record Management

• Maintain accurate system records, including rates, contracts, allocations, and amendments.

5. Trade Monitoring & Compliance

• Monitor CRR/SRR filings, pre-loading payments, and booking status.
• Ensure compliance with Trade SOPs and internal pricing policies.

6. Reporting& Analysis

• Prepare regular reports on pricing, DF performance, space utilisation, and commercial activities.

7. Stakeholder Coordination

• Coordinate with Sales, LMD, Finance, and local offices to ensure smooth execution of commercial processes.

8. Projects& Continuous Improvement

• Support ad-hoc commercial projects and process improvements.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field in shipping profession is an added- advantage.
• Entry Level candidates are welcome to apply; training will be provided
• Good communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain relationships with clients and partners.
• Candidate should be equipped with adequate numeracy skills.
• Candidate must be meticulous with details, multi-tasking, possess a positive learning attitude, and be able to cope with the fast-paced working environment.
• Proficient in MS Word & Excel.
• Advantageous to have knowledge and skillset on AI tools to assist daily job.
