We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Green Mark Coordinator to join our project team. In this role, you will leadsite-level sustainability practices, ensure strict adherence to the Building and Construction Authority (BCA) Green Mark certification standards, andwork closely with project managers, consultants, and subcontractors to driveeco-friendly construction.
Key Responsibilities
- Certification & Compliance: Monitor and manage daily site operations to fulfill all target BCA Green Mark criteria, environmental regulations, and client sustainability mandates.
- Documentation & Submissions: Prepare, compile, and maintain all necessary Green Mark reports, calculation models, material specs, and verification records for authority audits.
- Site Inspections & Audits: Conduct regular site walks to inspect waste management, energy/water conservation measures, noise/dust controls, and sustainable material usage.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with clients, Green Mark Consultants, M&E teams, and subcontractors to resolve non-compliance issues and hit targeted sustainability scores.
- Materials & Design Review: Assist in verifying that construction materials, equipment, and methods comply with sustainable product schemes (e.g., SGBC green labels).
- Training & Awareness: Conduct site tool-box talks and briefings to educate workers and staff on green building practices and environmental management plans.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Diploma or Degree in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Building Services, Architecture, Environmental Studies, or a related field.
- Certification: Certified Green Mark Accredited Professional (GMAP) or holds relevant BCA Green Mark manager/coordinator training.
- Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of hands-on experience in construction project coordination, specifically focusing on Green Mark submissions and site environmental monitoring.
- Technical Skills:
- Familiarity with the latest BCA Green Mark schemes (e.g., GM:2021 framework).
- Good knowledge of M&E systems, energy efficiency metrics, and sustainable building materials.
- Proficient in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Soft Skills: Strong communication, report-writing, and problem-solving abilities with a proactive, team-oriented mindset.
