Clinical Care & Treatment

• Perform comprehensive TCM diagnosis, including history taking, physical examination, and investigations to evaluate the urgency and severity of patient conditions.
• Recommend and where appropriate, independently undertake treatment options aligned with clinical guidelines and patient needs.
• Refer patients to other support services or specialists as necessary to ensure comprehensive care.
• Collaborate and coordinate patient rehabilitation plans, actively participating in restoring patients’ normal functioning.
• Consistently exceed established standards and quality benchmarks in TCM care delivery.
• Provide timely, patient-centered, and culturally appropriate healthcare services within Sunway TCM Centre and Sunway Healthcare Group Services.

Patient Care Management & Operational Leadership

• Demonstrate thorough operational knowledge of TCM procedures relevant to the assigned area.
• Manage clinical resources efficiently to optimize productivity and service delivery.
• Maintain excellent patient relations, fostering trust and strong rapport to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Deliver accurate clinical assessments and appropriate management in line with ethical and clinical standards.
• Drive continuous service quality improvements based on patient feedback and performance indicators.
• Assume a leadership role by mentoring, guiding, and supporting junior staff and colleagues to fulfill their responsibilities effectively.
• Proactively identify potential risks and implement measures to ensure a safe clinical environment.
• Participate the privileging process for junior practitioners by guiding, mentoring, and assessing their clinical competencies.
• Conduct evaluations and certify junior practitioners' readiness for independent practice in accordance with organizational standards and regulatory guidelines.

Requirements

• A recognized Bachelor’s Degree in Traditional and Complementary Medicine (TCM) from an accredited institution
• Valid Annual Practicing Certificate
• Registered with practitioner body with recognized by the Traditional and Complementary Medicine Council.
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of post-privileging clinical experience in Traditional & Complementary Medicine, preferably within an integrative healthcare setting.
• Advanced proficiency in TCM diagnostic techniques, including pulse and tongue diagnosis, syndrome differentiation, and integrative assessment.
• Expertise in performing a wide range of TCM treatments such as acupuncture, herbal therapy, tuina, cupping, and moxibustion with high clinical competence.
• Empathy and compassion to support patients' physical and emotional well-being.
