TE Connectivity Hiring! Full Time GL Accountant in Selangor - Ricebowl

Key responsibilities:

v Coordinate with the company's Financial Solutions Center related to end-to-end transactions

v Analyze monthly financial statements closing and completion of reporting packages, direct and indirect tax related reports for the assigned entities.

v Ensuring necessary controls is complying with company’s finance policies

v Liaison with external auditors and tax agent on statutory audits and tax filing, including preparation of supporting reconciliation and schedules to external and internal parties

v Observe and meeting internal month end and statutory compliance and filing deadline

v Assisting supervisor with ad-hoc task/assignment and participating in regional continuous improvement projects.

Qualifications:

v Minimum 3 years’ work experience

v Working experiences in medium to big size accounting firm or MNC in the trading or distribution sector is a plus.

v Qualified CPA or Accounting degree holder

v Fluent in written and spoken English, Bahasa Malaysia

v Familiar with SAP system

v Familiar with the Malaysian e-invoicing requirements

v Ability to deal with complex accounting treatment and statutory reporting

v Good communication and interpersonal skills

v Self-starter and attentive to detail

v Expected to work well in a cross functional environment and be able to work in a team

v Operates with minimal supervision; receives limited instruction on routine work assignments and determines methods and procedures for new assignments.

v The successful candidate must be able to achieve results through influence and maintain good working relationships with peers working across various functions in the company and other related affiliates.
