Role Summary:
The Warehouse Operations Executive is primarily based at the warehouse to support daily warehouse and logistics operations. The role is responsible for on-site operational coordination, inventory accuracy, warehouse performance monitoring, reverse logistics coordination, and continuous operational improvement while ensuring compliance with company SOPs and operational standards.
Job Responsibilities:
1 Warehouse Operations Support (On-site & External)
- Work primarily at the warehouse to monitor daily operations, coordinate warehouse activities, and provide immediate operational support.
- b) Coordinate receiving, storage, and handling of spare parts and finished goods at external
- warehouse facilities.
- c) Ensure proper documentation, system transactions, and inventory accuracy.
- d) Support efficient space utilization, stock rotation, and replenishment activities.
- e) Assist in periodic inventory checks, cycle counts, and audits.
- f) Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and warehouse hygiene requirements.
- g) Coordinate defective stock disposal processes in accordance with company procedures.
- h) Perform additional operational duties as assigned.
2 Reverse Logistics & Defective Parts Handling
- Track defective part returns and ensure timely processing and closure.
- Support reverse logistics activities including:
- i. Scrap disposal
- ii. Return to HK warehouse
- iii. Local disposal / tender handling
- Maintain proper records, status tracking, and reporting.
3 Performance Monitoring & Improvement Support
- Monitor operational KPIs such as inventory accuracy, order fulfillment rate, and warehouse productivity.
- Identify operational issues, recommend practical improvement initiatives, and support implementation to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and cost optimization.
- Participate in process improvement projects related to warehouse operations, inventory management, logistics, and reverse logistics.
- Utilize spare part management systems and digital tools for transaction processing, tracking, reporting, and operational analysis.
4 Coordinate with external warehouse operators, logistics partners, and service providers to ensure smooth daily operations.
5 Operational Excellence & Initiative
- Proactively identify operational gaps, risks, and inefficiencies, and propose improvement initiatives.
- Recommend process optimization ideas to improve warehouse productivity, service quality, inventory accuracy, and logistics cost.
- Support implementation of approved improvement projects and monitor post-implementation effectiveness.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement through data-driven decision making.
Job Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or supply chain operations.
- Exposure to external warehouse or 3PL operations is an advantage.
- Able and willing to work primarily at the warehouse site to support daily operations.
- Solid understanding of warehouse operations and inventory processes.
- Self-motivated with strong ownership and initiative to drive continuous operational improvements.
- Familiarity with SOP-driven environments and 6S principles.
- Working knowledge of SAP, WMS, or similar systems.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
