Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Android Native Developer to join our development team and support the modernization of a mission-critical mobile application used by couriers on handheld scanning devices. You will collaborate closely with internal developers to migrate the existing application from Kotlin to Android Native, while leveraging AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot to improve development efficiency and code quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal development teams to modernize the existing GCA mobile application.
• Migrate application components from Kotlin to Android Native.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain Android mobile applications.
• Utilize AI-powered development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) to accelerate development and improve productivity.
• Ensure application performance, stability, maintainability, and code quality.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical discussions.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues.
• Work proactively with cross-functional teams to deliver project milestones.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience in Android Native application development.
• Advanced proficiency in mobile application development.
• Experience working with Kotlin and Android technologies.
• Good understanding of Android application architecture and development best practices.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or similar AI coding assistants.
• Experience working in Agile development teams.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Proactive mindset with the ability to work independently.

Pay: RM7,000.00 - RM12,000.00 per month
