Who are we looking for?


Are you a commercially driven sales professional with a sharp mind for lubricant technology? We are looking for an energetic Sales Manager to lead our growth across Malaysia.


In this role, you won't just sell products you will solve complex formulation challenges, build strategic partnerships with industry leaders, and play a direct role in driving our market leadership across automotive, industrial, marine, base oils, specialty lubricant and next-gen EV fluid segments.


Key Accountabilities:


  • Drive Market Growth: Develop and execute high-impact sales strategies to expand our presence in lubricant additives and finished lubricants across Malaysia.

  • Build Key Relationships: Lead commercial discussions and build lasting, high-value partnerships with major lubricant manufacturers, national oil companies, independent blenders, and distributors.

  • Deliver Technical Solutions: Partner closely with our R&D, product management and technical teams to help customers solve performance challenges, conduct product trials, technical seminar and secure key approvals.

  • Channel & Distributor Leadership: Expand market coverage by developing and supporting strong distributor networks with the tools, training, and joint strategy they need to succeed.

  • Market & Trend Intelligence: Stay ahead of industry trends, pricing movements, and regulatory developments to spot new growth avenues.

  • Forecasting & Strategic Planning: Prepare annual operating plans, sales forecasts, and monthly business reviews while managing pricing strategies, profitability metrics, and accurate CRM reporting.

Work Experience

Requirements

  • Industry Experience: 5 to 10+ years of proven commercial sales experience in lubricant additives and/or finished lubricants.

  • Market Network: Strong familiarity with Malaysia’s lubricant landscape, including established relationships with blenders, oil marketers, OEMs, and industrial customers and distributors.

  • Technical Savvy: A solid understanding of lubricant formulations, greases, hydraulic fluids, gear oils, and additive technologies.

  • Education: A Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field. MBA or equivalent business qualification is an advantage.

  • Commercial Mindset: High-level negotiation skills, strong business forecasting ability, and an entrepreneurial, self-driven approach.

  • Travel Flexibility: Frequent travel within Malaysia to visit customers, blenders, and distribution channels. Occasional travel within ASEAN for regional meetings, industry conferences, and customer events.

  • Cross-Functional & Regional Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to collaborate seamlessly with internal teams including supply chain, customer service, finance, regulatory, and technical teams to deliver excellent customer service. Experience coordinating product registrations, OEM approvals, and local regulatory compliance requirements within Malaysia. Comfort with driving and supporting regional initiatives and strategic projects across ASEAN.
