Role Overview:
We’re looking for a sharp, organised, people-savvy Junior Project Manager — someone who loves ticking every box and can talk comfortably with clients and creatives in both English and Bahasa Malaysia. You’ll support our Project/ Account Managers in keeping projects on track, learning the ropes of client management while making sure nothing falls through the cracks.
What You’ll Do:
- Support the Project/ Account Manager in coordinating activities across ongoing engagements, helping connect Clients, Creative, Research, Digital, and Management teams.
- Help track timelines, deliverables, and dependencies, flagging anything that needs attention.
- Assist across multiple projects at once, keeping details organised and nothing missed.
- Help prepare for and run client meetings, workshops, and presentations — agendas, minutes, slides, and follow-ups.
- Sit in on client discussions and provide coordination support under the guidance of the Project/Account Manager.
- Keep project documentation and presentation materials sharp, tidy, and precise.
- Help gather requirements and creative briefs, and support proposal and concept development.
- Assist with financial proposals, invoices, and variation orders under supervision.
- Represent the team professionally in client interactions, in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
What We’re Looking For:
Core Skills:
- Fluent in English, spoken and written; conversational Bahasa Malaysia is a plus; Mandarin is a bonus.
- Strong organizational instincts — you notice the details others miss.
- Comfortable coordinating across multiple stakeholders and priorities at once.
- Confident preparing clear documentation: agendas, minutes, proposals, and decks.
- Basic understanding of project workflows and timelines (agency or client-services experience a plus).
Experience:
- Fresh graduates or up to 2 years of experience in project coordination, account management, or a related client-facing role.
- Prior exposure to client communication or team coordination is an advantage but not required.
