Group Legal Advisor –

Position Summary

The Group Legal Advisor is responsible for providing strategic legal counsel and ensuring legal, regulatory, and corporate governance compliance across Mudah Healthcare Berhad and its subsidiaries. The role supports the Group's growth, mergers and acquisitions, healthcare operations, digital health initiatives, insurance-related businesses, and future capital market activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice to the Board of Directors, CEO, and senior management on corporate, commercial, and strategic matters.
• Draft, review, negotiate, and manage commercial contracts, joint venture agreements, shareholder agreements, employment contracts, and other legal documentation.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable Malaysian laws, healthcare regulations, corporate governance requirements, and data protection legislation.
• Lead and coordinate legal due diligence, contract negotiations, and documentation for mergers, acquisitions, investments, and strategic partnerships.
• Advise on healthcare regulatory matters, insurance and medico-legal issues, medical negligence, and claims management.
• Manage litigation, disputes, arbitration, and coordinate with external legal counsel to protect the Group's interests.
• Oversee the Group's legal risk management framework, compliance programmes, and corporate policies to minimise legal and regulatory exposure.
• Protect and manage the Group's intellectual property, trademarks, proprietary technologies, and confidential information.
• Provide legal support for fundraising, corporate restructuring, private investments, and the Group's future IPO and Bursa Malaysia listing initiatives.
• Liaise with government agencies, regulators, business partners, and external legal advisers on legal and regulatory matters.
• Conduct legal training and provide ongoing legal guidance to management and business units to promote a strong culture of compliance and good corporate governance.
• Monitor changes in legislation and advise management on legal developments that may impact the Group's businesses and strategic objectives.

Reporting Line

• Reports to: Group Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
• Works Closely With: Board of Directors, Chief Financial Officer, Company Secretary, Business Unit Heads, and External Legal Counsel.

To safeguard the legal interests of Mudah Healthcare Berhad while enabling sustainable growth, ensuring regulatory compliance, mitigating legal risks, and supporting the Group's strategic expansion and long-term corporate objectives

Pay: RM2,273.02 - RM9,872.61 per month
