Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain quality control plans, inspection standards, work instructions, and quality documentation.
• Review customer drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.
• Support NPI / New Product Introduction activities, including APQP, PFMEA, Control Plan, and First Article Inspection (FAI).
• Analyze customer complaints, internal quality issues, and process defects using problem-solving tools such as 8D, 5 Why, and Fishbone Analysis.
• Lead and follow up on Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
• Monitor and improve manufacturing processes to reduce defects and improve product quality.
• Work closely with Production, Engineering, NPI, and other departments to resolve quality issues.
• Coordinate with customers and suppliers on quality-related matters when required.
• Conduct process audits, product audits, and support internal and external audits.
• Monitor quality performance and prepare quality reports and improvement plans.
• Support the implementation and maintenance of the company’s Quality Management System.
• Ensure measuring and inspection equipment are properly controlled and calibrated.
• Provide quality-related training and guidance to production and relevant departments.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the superior.

Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Quality Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in precision sheet metal, stamping, machining, or assembly.
• Knowledge of quality tools such as 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone, SPC, FMEA, Control Plan, and MSA.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and understand GD&T.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and coordinate effectively with different departments.
