Job Summary

GCH Retail (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. is looking for a dedicated and customer-focused Cashier Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of the cashier section. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising the cashier team, ensuring accurate cash handling, maintaining smooth front-end operations and delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily operations of the cashier section.
• Lead, coach and support cashiers to ensure efficient and friendly customer service.
• Ensure all sales transactions are processed accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
• Monitor cash handling procedures, including cash float, cash collection and daily cash reconciliation.
• Prepare cashier duty rosters and monitor staff attendance.
• Ensure sufficient cashier coverage during peak business hours.
• Handle customer enquiries, complaints and payment issues professionally.
• Conduct daily cash balancing and report discrepancies immediately.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, cash handling procedures and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Train new cashiers on cashiering procedures and customer service standards.
• Assist the Store Manager in improving front-end operational efficiency.
• Perform any other duties assigned by Management.

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,100.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Mont Kiara: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Experience:

• Retail sales: 1 year (Preferred)

Language:
