Job Summary

GCH Retail (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. is looking for a skilled and passionate Baker to join our Bakery Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, baking and presenting a variety of bakery products while maintaining high standards of product quality, food safety, hygiene and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake a variety of bakery products including bread, pastries, cakes and other bakery items according to company recipes and standards.
• Measure, mix and prepare ingredients accurately according to recipes.
• Operate bakery equipment such as ovens, mixers and other baking tools safely and efficiently.
• Monitor baking processes to ensure consistent product quality, taste and appearance.
• Perform dough preparation, shaping, proofing and finishing of bakery products.
• Ensure all bakery products are freshly prepared and displayed attractively.
• Conduct quality checks on raw materials and finished products.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the bakery production area, equipment and utensils.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of ingredients according to food safety standards.
• Practise stock rotation using FIFO (First In, First Out) and FEFO (First Expired, First Out) principles.
• Assist with stock ordering, inventory checks and wastage control.
• Follow Food Safety, Hygiene and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Support promotional activities and seasonal bakery production.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Bakery Supervisor or Management.

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,902.61 per month

• Mont Kiara: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Experience:

• Retail sales: 1 year (Preferred)
