Responsibilities

• Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Cybersecurity and related computing subjects.
• Prepare teaching materials, assessments, and learning resources.
• Conduct lectures, tutorials, laboratory sessions, and student consultations.
• Supervise final year projects, internships, and postgraduate research students.
• Participate in curriculum development and programme accreditation activities.
• Engage in research, publications, and grant applications.
• Contribute to academic administration, quality assurance, and university committees.
• Establish collaborations with industry partners to enhance student learning and employability.
• Support student recruitment, outreach, and promotional activities.

Requirements

• Master's degree or PhD in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge in cybersecurity disciplines such as Network Security, Ethical Hacking and Penetration Testing, Digital Forensics, Security Operations Centre (SOC), Cloud Security, Cyber Threat Intelligence, and Incident Response.
• Ability to teach and engage students from diverse backgrounds.
• Demonstrated experience in teaching and learning within a higher education environment.
• Relevant industry experience in cybersecurity, information security, digital forensics, or related disciplines.
• Evidence of scholarly achievement through research publications, successful grant applications, or participation in industry-based projects.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
