Job Description

Responsibilities

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Production Planning & Operations Executive to lead our manufacturing workflow, optimize plant efficiency, and drive cost-reduction and quality enhancement initiatives. In this senior role, you will take full ownership of production scheduling, resource allocation, and shop-floor troubleshooting while actively identifying opportunities to cut production costs, hike up production rates, and significantly reduce product rejection and scrap rates in an ISO 5 and ISO 7 cleanroom environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Cost Optimization, Yield Improvement & Rejection Reduction

  • Defect & Rejection Reduction: Lead root-cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to systematically lower scrap, rework, and product rejection rates.
  • Value Engineering & Efficiency: Analyze current manufacturing processes, material flows, and cycle times to identify bottlenecks and implement continuous improvement (Kaizen/Lean) strategies.
  • Cost & Waste Reduction: Spearhead cost-saving initiatives (such as material yield optimization and process stabilization) without compromising medical-grade quality standards.
  • Output Maximization: Streamline operations, tooling, and resource deployment to consistently drive up production rates and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).

2. Production Planning & Resource Control

  • Advanced Material & Production Planning: Oversee comprehensive material and production scheduling to ensure seamless resource availability and on-time order fulfillment.
  • ERP Management: Maintain accurate tracking and reporting of Manufacturing Order (MO) completion within the Monitor ERP system across all product lines.
  • Supply Coordination: Partner closely with the Store Department to forecast, request, and guarantee the timely availability of materials.
  • Tracking & Administration: Manage and optimize planning trackers, MO logs, and daily production status updates while guiding production leaders.

3. Shop-Floor Operations & Troubleshooting

  • Advanced Troubleshooting: Rapidly diagnose and resolve complex technical machine issues during breakdowns to minimize line downtime and prevent quality drift.
  • Cleanroom Standards: Ensure flawless execution and adherence to ISO 5 and ISO 7 cleanroom protocols and environmental requirements.
  • Adaptor & Tooling Oversight: Oversee the preparation and maintenance of adaptor files and technical documentation for each production lot.

4. Quality Documentation & Compliance ("Yellow File" Management)

  • Yellow File Governance: Ensure meticulous compilation and verification of yellow files for every running lot, including:
  • Mould Block Verification
  • Product Label Verification
  • Spacer Order Verification
  • Lot traceability documentation
  • Deviation Management: Lead the communication and resolution of lot deviations with relevant departments, establishing proper tracking and follow-up actions.
  • Labeling & Vendor Coordination: Design customer-specific carton labels as needed. Manage Purchase Orders (PO) for labels and coordinate with suppliers to customize data matrix information based on exact lot numbers and manufacturing dates.

Requirements

  • Education: Diploma or Degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in production planning, manufacturing operations, and process/quality optimization within a regulated environment (medical device or cleanroom background preferred).
  • Core Competencies:
  • Proven track record in reducing product rejection/scrap rates, cutting production costs, and increasing manufacturing throughput.
  • Strong technical problem-solving skills with machinery and shop-floor workflows.
  • Self-motivated leader with excellent interpersonal communication and the ability to mentor junior team members.
