The School of Dental Sciences, Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), is inviting applications from motivated graduates to join an exciting research project as a Graduate Research Assistant (GRA).

Research Project :

The Association Between Oral Health Knowledge, Attitude and Practice with Dental Service Utilization Among Cancer Patients in Northeast Malaysia

This project offers an excellent opportunity to develop research skills while contributing to improving oral healthcare for cancer patients.

What You Will Learn

• Health research methodology and study design

• Questionnaire development and validation

• Clinical and hospital-based data collection

• Statistical analysis using SPSS

• Research ethics and Good Clinical Practice (GCP)

• Scientific writing and manuscript preparation

• Presentation of research findings at conferences

• Publication in peer-reviewed journals

• Critical appraisal of scientific literature

• Project management and collaborative research skills

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum CGPA of 3.33/4.00 (or equivalent)

• Eligible to register as a full-time Master of Science (Research Mode) student at Universiti Sains Malaysia

• Able to conduct fieldwork and data collection at USM Health Campus, Kubang Kerian, Kelantan

• Good command of written and spoken English

• Strong interest in health research and scientific writing

• Self-motivated, responsible, and able to work independently as well as in a research team
