Job Description

Responsibilities

Responsibility

  • Operate and maintain the Condition Monitoring (CdM) System in Maintenance Engineering
  • Centre (MEC).
  • Monitor, analyse and report engineering data and alerts from CdM Systems in MEC in
  • Normal Operation.
  • Provide guidance to Operation Control Center (OCC) during incidents.
  • Partner with Operations and Engineering staff to explore or/and improve the data analytic capabilities deployed in MEC.
  • Post investigation support to Engineering Team.
  • Lead the development of digital solutions.
  • Operate and maintain the Condition Monitoring (CdM) Systems in Maintenance Engineering Centre (MEC).
  • Monitor, analyse and report engineering data and alerts from CdM Systems in MEC to OCC and Engineering departments.
  • Develop procedures of normal operation, post investigation and incident management in MEC.
  • Develop reports for routine operation in MEC relating to reliability and performance.
  • Collaborate with Data Analyst and System Engineer to explore the data analytic capability that deployed in MEC.
  • Implement continuous improvement and enhancement of data exploration.
  • To support Post Investigations for complex interfaces failures that result from disruption include reviewing and conduct diagnosis and forensics of equipment deterioration for opportunity.
  • To be the secretariat of the Maintenance & Failure Review Board forums and post investigation meetings.
  • To lead or assist with any special assignments for events (eg visits, seminars or technical talks) related to MEC.
  • To respond to any incident upon activation by Engineering or/and Rail Engineering & Performance Division/Department heads.
  • Any other tasks assigned by superior.

Requirements

  • Minimum Degree in Electronics/Electrical/Computer Engineering or equivalent
  • Fresh graduates may apply
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Knowledge of computer hardware or/and software applications.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Passion for Data for analytics and CdM.
  • Up to date on the latest technologies.
  • Keen interest in research and experimentation
  • Ability to identify colours
  • Ability to perform rotating shifts
