Job Overview:

As an Airfreight Control Tower Specialist, you will oversee and coordinate end-to-end air freight operations to ensure optimal visibility, control, and service performance. Acting as the central point of coordination, you will manage shipment milestones, monitor operational KPIs, and collaborate with internal teams, carriers, and global partners to ensure shipments are executed efficiently, accurately, and within agreed service levels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the central control point for all assigned air freight shipments, ensuring full operational visibility
• Monitor shipment milestones proactively and ensure on-time departure and arrival performance
• Coordinate closely with operations teams, air carriers, overseas offices, and service providers to ensure seamless execution
• Manage exceptions, identify potential delays, and implement corrective actions to minimize service disruption
• Ensure accurate documentation, data entry, and compliance with internal SOPs and customer requirements
• Prepare and analyze KPI reports, performance dashboards, and customer service metrics
• Conduct root cause analysis for service deviations and support continuous improvement initiatives
• Maintain clear and proactive communication with stakeholders regarding shipment status and operational updates
• Support strategic planning and optimization of air freight flows when required
• Perform any other duties or assignments as directed by management

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum 1 years of experience in customer service or logistics (air freight export experience is required)
• Solid understanding of freight processes, documentation, and transport arrangements
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• A team player with strong collaboration skills and the ability to work independently
