Part-Time Tutor – Secondary & Higher Secondary Subjects

We are looking for passionate and responsible Part-Time Tutors to teach secondary and higher secondary students.

• Mathematics
• Science
• English

Tutors may apply for one or more subjects based on their qualifications and teaching experience.

Job Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct engaging lessons based on students’ academic levels and learning needs.
• Explain concepts clearly and provide additional support when students face difficulties.
• Adjust teaching methods according to students’ learning pace and ability.
• Prepare suitable notes, exercises, worksheets and teaching materials.
• Monitor students’ understanding, participation and academic progress.
• Provide regular feedback on students’ strengths and areas for improvement.
• Encourage students to participate actively and build confidence in the subject.
• Maintain a positive, supportive and professional learning environment.
• Use online teaching platforms and digital resources when required.
• Communicate professionally with the academic or administrative team.

Requirements

• Good spoken and written English.
• Strong knowledge of the subject being taught.
• Confident communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passionate, energetic, patient and responsible.
• Able to engage and motivate secondary-level students.
• Able to plan lessons and work independently.
• Flexible to teach during morning and/or evening sessions.
• Comfortable using online teaching platforms and digital teaching tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, diploma or relevant qualification in Education or a related subject is preferred.
• Candidates with teaching or tutoring experience will have an advantage.
• Fresh graduates and candidates currently pursuing higher education are welcome to apply.
• Candidates without formal teaching experience may be considered if they have strong subject knowledge and good communication skills.

Preferred Experience

• Experience teaching secondary or higher secondary students.
• Familiarity with Cambridge, IGCSE, Checkpoint or similar syllabuses.
• Experience conducting online lessons.
• Ability to prepare structured lesson plans, exercises and assessments.

Working Arrangement

• Part-time position.
• Online and/or physical classes depending on the available opening.
• Classes may be scheduled in the morning, afternoon or evening.
• Teaching schedule will be arranged based on class requirements and tutor availability.
