UI Developer (Angular)


Our client is a leading financial services organization headquartered in Singapore, with a strong presence across Asia. The company provides a comprehensive range of banking and financial solutions, including personal, corporate, and investment banking services. Renowned for innovation and digital transformation, it leverages advanced technologies to enhance customer experiences, streamline operations, and deliver impactful solutions across the financial sector.


Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain robust, scalable, and secure frontend applications using Angular and/or React frameworks.

• Implement responsive and intuitive user interfaces, ensuring optimal performance and user experience across different devices and browsers.

• Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers, backend developers, and product owners to translate design mockups and wireframes into high-quality code.

• Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding, debugging, testing, and deployment.

• Develop reusable UI components and libraries to promote consistency and accelerate development cycles.

• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.

• Implement and adhere to secure coding best practices, addressing potential vulnerabilities such as XSS and CSRF.

• Stay up to date with emerging frontend technologies and industry best practices.

• Contribute to code reviews, ensuring code quality, performance, and adherence to architectural standards.


Requirements

Must-Have Skills:

• Proficiency in JavaScript, including ES6+, HTML5, and CSS3.

• Expertise in at least one modern JavaScript framework, with a strong preference for Angular and React.

• Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.

• Understanding of RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.

• Knowledge of UI/UX design principles and the ability to work with design systems, such as DBS Digital Design Standard.

• Familiarity with build tools, such as Webpack and npm scripts, and package managers, including npm and Yarn.

• Understanding of agile methodologies and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.


Nice to Have

• Familiarity with state management libraries, such as RxJS for Angular and Redux for React.

• Experience with testing frameworks, such as Jest, Karma, Jasmine for Angular, Jest, and React Testing Library for React
