We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Head of Admissions to lead the admissions function for the assigned campus. The role is responsible for developing and executing the admissions strategy, driving student enrolment growth, enhancing the parent experience, and ensuring operational excellence across the end-to-end admissions journey.
As a strategic business partner to the Principal and school leadership team, the Head of Admissions will lead, coach and develop the Admissions team, leverage market insights and data to optimise enrolment performance, strengthen stakeholder relationships, and ensure the achievement of the school's enrolment and revenue objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Admissions Strategy & Growth
- Develop and execute the campus admissions strategy aligned with the school's enrolment, growth and business objectives.
- Own and deliver annual, quarterly and monthly enrolment targets and revenue goals.
- Forecast enrolment performance, monitor admissions pipeline health and implement proactive initiatives to optimise conversion and yield.
- Identify opportunities to enhance the parent journey and continuously improve the admissions experience.
Leadership & Team Management
- Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing Admissions team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration and customer excellence.
- Establish clear performance objectives and monitor individual and team performance against agreed KPIs.
- Deliver ongoing coaching, capability development and training on admissions best practices, customer engagement, CRM utilisation and consultative sales techniques.
Stakeholder Management
- Partner closely with the Principal and school leadership team to develop enrolment strategies and improve student retention.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective families, corporate partners, relocation agencies, education consultants and other key external stakeholders.
- Represent OWIS at open houses, education fairs, conferences, seminars, workshops and networking events to strengthen the school's market presence.
Admissions Operations & Compliance
- Oversee the end-to-end admissions process to ensure operational excellence and an exceptional customer experience.
- Ensure all admissions data and customer interactions are accurately maintained within the CRM system.
- Ensure compliance with Ministry of Education regulations, student visa requirements, school policies and academic progression guidelines.
- Oversee the integrity of prospective student, current student, progression and alumni databases.
Market Intelligence & Business Insights
- Analyse admissions performance, market trends, competitor activity and customer insights to inform strategic decision-making.
- Develop regular admissions dashboards, forecasts and reports for school leadership.
- Identify new recruitment channels, partnerships and market opportunities to expand the student pipeline.
- Plan and manage admissions-related marketing initiatives within approved budgets.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree from a recognised institution.
- 10–15 years of progressive experience in admissions, student recruitment or business development within a K-12 international school environment.
- Minimum 5 years' experience leading Admissions teams, preferably in an international school.
- Proven track record of successfully driving student enrolment growth and achieving commercial targets.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to develop and execute admissions strategies.
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills.
- Strong analytical capability with experience leveraging CRM systems and admissions data to drive performance.
- Deep understanding of the international K-12 education landscape and admissions best practices.
- Willingness to work 5.5 days per week.
