Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Greater Kuala Lumpur for a Software Developer, Data Engineer, AI Engineer. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining software applications and data pipelines, as well as building and integrating AI models into production systems. Daily responsibilities include writing clean and efficient code, implementing back-end services and APIs, optimizing data storage and retrieval, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions. The engineer will also participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and performance tuning, while contributing to documentation and best practices for software, data, and AI workflows.
Qualifications

• Solid foundation in Computer Science, including algorithms, data structures, and software engineering principles.
• Proficiency in Software Development and Programming, with experience in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C#, or similar).
• Hands-on experience in Back-End Web Development, including building APIs, working with databases, and integrating services.
• Strong understanding and practical use of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts in production-level code.
• Experience or interest in Data Engineering (data pipelines, ETL, relational and NoSQL databases) and AI/ML engineering (model development, validation, and deployment) is highly beneficial.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to work on-site in Greater Kuala Lumpur, collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams, and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git), software testing practices, and agile or iterative development methodologies.
