Role Description The Human Resources Manager role at TCE Baby is a full-time, on-site position based in WP. Kuala Lumpur. The individual in this role oversees end-to-end HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing HR policies, managing payroll and benefits in coordination with finance, and ensuring compliance with local labor laws and company standards. The Human Resources Manager also supports managers with workforce planning, training and development initiatives, and employee engagement programs that align with the company’s culture and business objectives. This role collaborates closely with leadership to build a positive, inclusive work environment and to support organizational growth in the exhibitions and events sector.
Qualifications
- Solid experience in core HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations.
- Knowledge of Malaysian labor laws, HR compliance requirements, and best practices for workplace policies and procedures.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to build trust across diverse teams.
- Proven ability to manage HR administration, such as payroll coordination, benefits management, and HR documentation.
- Skills in training and development, including designing or coordinating learning programs and supporting career development.
- Demonstrated organizational and time management skills, with the capacity to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working in event management, exhibitions, or related industries is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Comfort with HRIS and basic office software, and openness to adopting new HR tools and systems.
