Job Description

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and implement operational solutions for electronic interconnect manufacturing projects, including process improvement, cost reduction, capacity enhancement, and shipment optimization.

  • Collaborate with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) customers to review customer drawings, Bills of Materials (BOM), specifications, and contractual requirements.

  • Support New Product Introduction (NPI), product transfer, and production ramp-up activities for wire harness, box build, and system integration products.

  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction, productivity improvement, and process optimization while maintaining product quality.

  • Prepare product costing, engineering estimates, and production forecasts.

  • Develop, review, and maintain engineering documentation, work instructions, SOPs, and process flow.

  • Support first article builds, engineering trials, product validation, and process qualification activities.

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Production, Quality, Purchasing, and Planning, to ensure project milestones are achieved.

  • Provide technical support to manufacturing operations and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent.

  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. Candidates with relevant manufacturing experience will have an added advantage.

  • Experience in the electronics manufacturing (EMS) or wire harness industry will be an advantage.

  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, production planning, routing, or NPI activities is preferred.

  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, BOMs, and technical specifications.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • A proactive team player with a positive learning attitude and willingness to take ownership.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
