Job Summary

Develop, test, and maintain software applications while collaborating with IT manager and teams to enhance system functionality, troubleshoot issues, and support user interface and database-driven program development.

Responsibilities

• Write, test, and maintain code for software applications using Java, Python, C++, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to deliver functional and efficient software solutions
• Collaborate with the IT manager to design, debug, and update software systems to improve performance and reliability
• Participate in code reviews to enhance code quality and efficiency across projects
• Troubleshoot and resolve software issues, including system errors and bugs, to ensure smooth operation
• Support the development of user interfaces, web applications, and database-driven programs to meet user needs
• Maintain and update technical documentation such as software designs and specifications to ensure accurate records and knowledge sharing
• Implement developed tools within existing workflows by coordinating with end-user teams for seamless integration
• Create, maintain, and update technical documentation on tool design to support ongoing development and maintenance

Required competencies and certifications

• Possess at least a Diploma in a related field

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Basic knowledge of programming languages including Java, Python, C++, HTML, CSS, SQL, or JavaScript
• Understanding of software development methodologies, debugging, and testing processes
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and mathematical skills applied to software development tasks
• Effective communication, teamwork, and collaboration skills to work productively within development teams
