JOB DESCRIPTION

Our client, a leading global metals and mineral resources trading company is currently looking for a Trading Operations Specialist to join the team.

Reporting to the manager, the Trade Operations Specialist will be responsible for handling order fulfilment, which includes managing shipment requirements and shipping documents, verifying and processing payments, generating invoices, preparing Letter of Credit, liaise with banks, warehouse management, monitoring and tracking shipments, updating shipment status, and monitoring cashflow.

In addition, the incumbent will also be responsible for liaising with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and updating systems with necessary information relating to the trade and shipment.

Successful candidates can expect to work in a cohesive team with an established organization.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree  
• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience
• Relevant experience in metal and mineral commodities industry
• Knowledge in UCP600 would be advantageous
• Experience in container shipping and warehousing rules would be preferred
