About JING Halal Hotpot and Grill Buffet

JING Halal Hotpot and Grill Buffet serves a diverse community with a fully halal menu in a warm, high-volume dining environment. Our buffet and grill experience brings together families, large parties, and repeat regulars, and the guest experience is at the heart of everything we do. We are looking for a Guest Relations Manager who can be the friendly, dependable face of JING — someone who makes every guest feel welcomed and taken care of from the moment they walk in.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Relations & Service

  • Greet and welcome every guest warmly and professionally.
  • Resolve guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly.
  • Build rapport with regulars to encourage loyalty.
  • Monitor satisfaction and follow up on reviews and feedback.
  • Accommodate special occasions and dietary or halal questions.
  • Coordinate with servers, hosts, and kitchen to keep service flowing.
  • Uphold halal handling, food safety, and cleanliness standards.

Reservations & Seating

  • Manage reservations across phone, online, and walk-in.
  • Coordinate seating and table turnover during peak hours.
  • Plan and confirm large-party and group bookings.
  • Manage waitlists and set clear wait-time expectations.

Team & Operations

  • Train and coach front-of-house staff on service standards.
  • Relay guest feedback and operational needs to management.
  • Support opening/closing and daily front-of-house readiness.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in a restaurant, hospitality, or guest-facing role; supervisory or lead experience preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a genuine, guest-first attitude.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage reservations and multiple priorities at once.
  • Comfortable working on the floor in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.
  • Calm and professional under pressure, especially when resolving guest concerns.
  • Familiarity with reservation/POS systems is a plus.
  • Understanding of or willingness to learn halal dining practices and their importance to our guests.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
