• Full Sales Cycle Ownership: Manage prospecting, negotiation, and closing to consistently meet or exceed individual sales targets.
• Revenue Growth: Identify upsell, cross-sell, and account expansion opportunities to maximize long-term client value.
• Sales Forecasting: Maintain accurate, timely forecasts for your pipeline and flag risks/opportunities to leadership.
• Lead Generation: Source and qualify new business through outbound/inbound efforts, working closely with the Growth team.
• Relationship Management: Act as a trusted advisor to clients, managing complex relationships and CRM records with high accuracy.
• Market Research: Track market trends, competitor activity, and client needs to inform sales strategy.
• Sales Reporting & Analytics: Maintain CRM hygiene and deliver regular performance reporting to management.
• Process Optimization: Build playbooks and contribute to scalable, repeatable sales processes.
• Cross-Team Collaboration: Partner with Product, Engineering/AdOps, and Operations to ensure smooth execution and client satisfaction.
• Coaching: Mentor junior/mid-level team members and interns.

If Advertising Sales:

• Deliver consultative sales on monetization, targeting, and performance to maximize client ROI.
• Optimize ad inventory allocation and pricing; collaborate with Product on new ad units.
• Develop media plans covering creative formats, placements, and budget allocation.
• Answer technical questions on ad products from internal and external stakeholders.

If API Sales:

• Lead technical scoping with prospects to understand needs and present tailored API solutions.
• Engage technical stakeholders (CTOs, Product Managers, engineers) as part of the sales process.
• Execute go-to-market plans to penetrate target segments for API products.
• Build playbooks from scratch to establish new team standards.

CoinGecko is expanding its commercial team and looking for driven Senior Sales Associates to own individual sales quotas and drive revenue growth — either through our advertising offerings or our API product suite.
