Job Description

Responsibilities

Job Purpose:

  • To be a key finance focal point, supporting operations of real estate private equity fund on financial matters while ensuring accurate accounting records, efficient system operations, and timely management reporting.
  • To assist in the preparation and coordination of annual and monthly budgets, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely submission in accordance with management requirements and timelines.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and accounting standards by overseeing accurate reporting, tax obligations (including indirect and deferred taxes), and facilitating timely submissions to regulatory authorities in accordance with statutory requirements.



Job Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for overall full set of accounts, preparation of journals for month end closing in IFCA accounting system and ensure timely submission of finalised accounts to relevant systems.
  • Support month-end and year-end accounting close processes of multiple entities while maintaining accurate accounting records in compliance with financial reporting standards.
  • Responsible for preparing and delivering financial reports in compliance with internal finance policies and reporting standards, including analysis of monthly management reports and actual expenditure against budget, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
  • Prepare and reconcile schedules for the General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and intercompany accounts, while managing accruals and provisions to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Support fundraising and fund operations, including cash flow analysis and forecasting, while preparing, monitoring, and uploading annual budgets and forecasts to the relevant systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to compile and review supplier invoices, ensuring proper supporting documentation and timely processing to support project execution and funding availability.
  • Maintain the fixed asset register and manage related matters while assisting in monitoring bank accounts and cash balances to ensure liquidity to support operational requirements.
  • Provide support for company secretarial requirements and assist with compliance of regulatory requirements and internal controls.



Education/ Professional Qualification:

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline; professional certification (eg. ACCA, CPA, CMA) preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, or audit/assurance, with the position level to commensurate with experience and relevance.
  • Experience working in real estate or property development sector is an added advantage.
  • Able to work independently with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, complemented by effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Demonstrates good knowledge of accounting standards and regulations, proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting systems, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in managing financial data.
