Based out of Hong Kong, North Asia FSIG delivers evidence-based decision-making and execution for Growth, Transformation, and M&A and Post Deal solutions that are enabled by technology and artificial intelligence. We work with Banks, Insurers, Wealth and Asset Managers, Private Equity Investors, and Sovereign Wealth Funds. Our people include industry practitioners and technology consultants who have delivered and executed large scale and complex tech-enabled transformation projects, transactions and deal value creation across the life cycle, and digital strategies from pilot to production – across financial institutions.

Manager – Financial Services – Tech-enabled transformation

We are seeking a Manager with 7+ years’ experience in a top-tier management consulting firm or technology consulting firm, or in-house technology team who is looking to become involved in a “hands-on” team. We want a team player with an entrepreneurial mindset who can excel in a fast-paced environment that encourages working directly with Directors, Senior Directors, and Managing Directors.

The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience in technology solution and design skills across financial services, including but not exclusive to supporting enterprise AI transformations, digital and / or tech-enabled transformations, digital distribution and servicing, and digital delivery scaled across platforms, markets and relevant channels. Experience working with Financial Services organisations on complex transformation programmes is required; tech-enabled transformation would be advantageous. The successful candidate will have also have core consulting skills structured problem-solving, quantitative and qualitative analysis, financial acumen, market and competitive analysis, and project management skills.

How you will contribute:

• Lead day-to-day execution: Manage multiple workstreams and drive the end-to-end delivery of complex tech-enabled transformation programs for financial services, from initial diagnostic through to hands-on implementation.
• Translate data into strategy: Oversee the development of robust business cases and executive-level deliverables, turning ambiguous business challenges into structured, actionable solutions.
• Drive tangible impact: Work directly alongside client teams to implement strategic initiatives—such as developing digital business models and target operating models, agentic ready infrastructure and architecture—ensuring recommendations result in measurable operational and financial improvements.
• Develop and mentor teams: Direct, coach, and review the work of Associates, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring exceptional quality of project outputs.
• Accelerate practice growth: Identify add-on business opportunities within existing accounts, lead the drafting of compelling pitch materials, and actively support the firm's go-to-market strategies.
• Manage expectations with engagement leads, and build trust through accountability.

Qualification:

• University degree with a Master/ Bachelor degree or above in data science, engineering, artificial intelligence, machine learning, financial engineering, information technology, management, or related disciplines. Delivery methodologies such as Scrum, Scaled Agile, CSPO, are required.
• 7+ years of experience at a top-tier management consulting firm, investment bank or in a relevant internal strategy / operations / corporate development role.
• Demonstrable track record in structured problem solving, financial analysis, and developing strategic recommendations.
• Exceptional command of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, including experience with data visualization tools.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior executives
• Demonstrated ability to manage workstreams independently and coach junior colleagues.
• Experience in one or more of the following service offerings in the financial services industry is a plus:
  • Technology-enabled transformation including complex enterprise transformations, architecture and digital infrastructure solution design, data structuring and solution design, and awareness of the risk and regulatory implications
  • Digital Growth Strategy including business case development (revenue generation and cost optimization), market entry analysis (specific Mainland China experience will be advantageous), and/or new business models.
  • Driving leading edge developments including complex enterprise Agentic AI design and implementation, a deep network of relevant partnerships / vendors
• Certifications in digital delivery SCRUM, PMP, PRINCE would be advantageous.
• Business proficiency in Cantonese or Mandarin will be advantageous.
