Brightstar Computer Hiring! Full Time Product - Procurement Executive (IT Retail) in Federal Territory, Earn up to MYR 5,000 - Ricebowl

Join our product team as a Product Executive, where you'll drive purchasing and vendor relations for top IT brands. You will manage the full lifecycle of product procurement, from sourcing to inventory optimization, ensuring our shelves carry the right stock at the right price.

Responsibilities:

- Create and manage purchase orders in Wavelet, tracking deliveries against ETAs.

- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and rebates with key distributors (HP, Acer, ASUS, MSI, Lenovo, AMD, NVIDIA).

- Maintain optimal inventory levels to prevent overstock and dead stock.

- Handle backorders, ETAs, and allocation during supply shortages.

- Maintain product master data: item codes, specs, categories, and pricing.

- Onboard new SKUs and phase out end-of-life models.

- Set and review selling and wholesale prices based on market trends.

- Monitor competitor pricing and promotions.

- Forecast demand using sales trends and seasonality; plan buys for launches and festive peaks.

- Coordinate stock needs with branches and marketplace channels (Shopee, Lazada, TikTok).

- Manage supplier claims: rebates, price protection, MDF, and co-op marketing.

- Liaise on bundle deals, free gifts, and promo SKUs.

- Track principal programs and brand partnerships (e.g., Taiwan Excellence).

- Generate reports on stock ageing, sell-through, GP margin, and slow-movers.

Requirements:

- Diploma or degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field.

- At least 1-2 years of purchasing/procurement experience in IT retail.

- Familiarity with ERP systems (especially Wavelet) is a plus.

- Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
