Our client, a well-established company in the consulting and professional services industry, is seeking an Associate Data Manager to join its growing team based in Kuala Lumpur.
This junior-level opportunity is ideal for fresh graduates and early-career professionals interested in clinical data management. You will support the end-to-end clinical data management process, ensuring clinical trial data is accurate, consistent, and compliant with regulatory requirements while receiving structured technical training and international exposure.
Training Requirement:
- Successful candidates must be willing to undergo 6 months of on-the-job training in Guangzhou, China before returning to the Kuala Lumpur office.

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Able to communicate fluently in Mandarin and English (required for training and business communication).
- Knowledge of R, Python, or SAS is an added advantage.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent accuracy and accountability.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Able to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines.
- Positive learning attitude with the willingness to develop technical knowledge in clinical data management.
- Willing to relocate temporarily to Guangzhou, China for a 6-month training programme.
Responsibilities
- Design Case Report Forms (CRFs) based on clinical trial protocols to ensure complete and accurate data collection.
- Develop Data Validation Specifications to support data quality and protocol compliance.
- Set up and maintain Electronic Data Capture (EDC) systems, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Perform accurate and timely clinical data entry.
- Conduct data cleaning activities, including data review, query management, and external data reconciliation.
- Manage raw data transfer processes while maintaining proper documentation and regulatory compliance.
- Maintain laboratory normal range data across clinical studies.
- Administer EDC user accounts, including user access management and maintenance.
- Utilise SAS, R, or Python (where applicable) to perform edit checks and generate data listings.
- Collaborate with data managers, programmers, statisticians, and project teams to support study deliverables.
- Perform additional duties assigned by management.
Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
