Job Description :

The Store Material Handler (SMT Line) is responsible for managing the accurate flow, storage, and kitting of electronic components for high-speed Surface Mount Technology (SMT) production lines. Holding a Diploma, the ideal candidate will not only execute daily material movements but will also oversee inventory accuracy, manage Moisture Sensitive Devices (MSD), and troubleshoot system discrepancies within the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platform.

Key Responsibilities :

• Inventory Control & System Management: Execute and supervise material receiving, issuing, and transferring using ERP/MES software (e.g., SAP, Oracle). Ensure 100% data accuracy in scanning barcodes and tracking unique trace IDs.
• Kitting & Line Staging: Prepare, verify, and kit electronic components (reels, trays, tubes) according to the Bill of Materials (BOM) and production schedules. Deliver kits to SMT feeders on time to achieve zero line downtime.
• MSD & ESD Compliance: Strictly enforce JEDEC standards for Moisture Sensitive Devices, including monitoring floor life, exposure times, baking processes, and dry cabinet storage. Maintain absolute compliance with Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) protocols.
• FIFO & Shelf-Life Management: Oversee First-In-First-Out (FIFO) material issuance. Monitor component shelf-life and oxidation risks, flagging expiring lots to engineering.
• Discrepancy Troubleshooting: Investigate and resolve inventory variances, wrong part numbers, or missing components during the kitting or return-to-stock (RTS) process.
• Cycle Counting & Audits: Lead regular cycle counts and stock takes. Analyze discrepancy data to suggest warehouse process improvements.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Diploma in Electronic/Electrical Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related technical field.
• Experience: 1–2 years of experience in an electronics manufacturing environment (SMT environment is highly preferred). Fresh graduates with a strong technical diploma are welcome to apply.
• Technical Skills:
• Familiarity with electronic components (passives, ICs, transistors).
• Basic proficiency in computer systems and Microsoft Excel for reporting.
• Experience with barcode systems and ERP/MES software is a strong advantage.

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,000.00 per month
