Globetronics Hiring! Full Time Equipment Engineer (Preventive Maintenance) in Pulau Pinang, Earn up to MYR 5,500 - Ricebowl

Key Responsibilities:-

• Plan, develop, and manage preventive maintenance (PM) schedules for production equipment.
• Improve equipment reliability, availability, and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
• Analyze equipment failures and perform root cause analysis (RCA) to implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
• Lead troubleshooting and support equipment recovery to minimize production downtime.
• Develop and optimize maintenance procedures, work instructions, and PM checklists.
• Monitor equipment performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support equipment installation, qualification, and commissioning for new production lines.
• Coordinate with equipment vendors on maintenance, upgrades, and technical support.
• Train and mentor technicians on maintenance best practices and troubleshooting techniques.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and ISO manufacturing standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in equipment engineering within the semiconductor or electronics manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance methodologies.
• Experience in equipment troubleshooting, failure analysis, and reliability improvement.
• Familiar with OEE, SPC, FMEA, 8D, Lean Manufacturing, or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and in a cross-functional team environment.
• Full Time position permanent station in Bayan Lepas, Penang.

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
