Responsibilities

  • Manage projects throughout the full project lifecycle, from initiation and planning to implementation, closure and post-implementation review.
  • Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, resource requirements and success criteria.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, budgets and status reports.
  • Coordinate project activities across business, technical, operational and vendor teams.
  • Facilitate project meetings, document key discussions and follow up on action items.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure milestones and deliverables are completed on time.
  • Identify, assess and manage project risks, issues, dependencies and changes.
  • Escalate critical risks, delays or resource constraints to the relevant stakeholders.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and provide regular updates on project progress, risks and decisions.
  • Track project budgets, expenditure, invoices and resource utilisation where required.
  • Ensure project documentation is complete, accurate and maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Support procurement, vendor management and contract administration activities where applicable.
  • Coordinate user acceptance testing, implementation, training and operational readiness activities.
  • Ensure projects comply with organisational policies, governance requirements and quality standards.
  • Conduct project closure activities, including lessons learned and performance evaluation.


Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, Project Management or a related discipline.
  • Relevant experience in project coordination or project management.
  • Experience managing multiple stakeholders, project timelines and competing priorities.
  • Strong organisational, planning and problem-solving skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management or collaboration tools.
  • Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall or hybrid project delivery methodologies.
  • Project management certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master or equivalent would be advantageous.
  • Experience in vendor management, budgeting, procurement or contract management would be an added advantage.
