Job Type: 6 months renewable contract

QA Engineer

Job Requirement:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science / engineering or its equivalent
• 5 years of experience in application testing with proven testing experience in banking and/or payment systems (e.g., core banking, digital payments, transaction processing)
• Strong testing expertise in APIs and backend services, including RESTful API testing using tools such as Postman, Swagger/Open API, REST Assured, or similar frameworks
• Experience in API validation (request/response structures, headers, payloads, HTTP methods, status codes, error handling
• Automation testing is a plus (but minimum is preferred)
• Strong experience in supporting critical application workloads on AWS Cloud.
• Hands-on experience with bug tracking and test case management using JIRA, including defect logging, prioritization, workflow tracking

Key Responsibilities:

• End to end functional testing
• Regression testing
• Non-functional testing
• Collaborate with Technical Lead to understand requirements and perform testing
• Communicate test data requirements and coordinate environment readiness for testing.
• Perform manual testing and initial bug triage.

• The analyst will be expected to support all vulnerability fixes for our existing 12 applications and actively participate in Defect Triage calls to drive resolution of issues. In addition, the role requires close coordination with developers, business users and test managers to ensure comprehensive test coverage, timely defect turnaround, and adherence to project timelines. The analyst should also maintain clear documentation, track test progress, and provide regular updates on testing status and quality metrics.
