What You Will Do

• Administration of the LMS (Blackboard) with preparation of courses, enrolment, migration of course materials, groups etc.
• Integrate LMS with external systems and learning tools, such as SIS, Turnitin, etc.
• Provide timely and effective technical support to instructors, staff, and students for the LMS and other educational technology systems.
• Assist with procurement and project implementation (e.g. UAT, technical specs, Cyber Risk Assessment).
• Business and process improvements across Edtech systems (e.g. by using dashboards, analytics and AI-enabled solutions).
• Technical support for online examinations.
• Support occasional system testing outside of normal working hours, during IT system changes or maintenance activities.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Who We Are Looking For

• A degree in Information Technology, Educational Technology or a related field
• Detailed and meticulous
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including macros and formulas
• Dedicated responsible self-learner that can work independently with minimum supervision
• Experience with Learning Management Systems (e.g. Blackboard Learn) or other Educational Technology platforms will be an advantage
• Experience in procurement, cyber risk assessment and IT project implementation will be an advantage
• Experience with Power BI and/or AI applications or automation is an advantage; candidates with an interest in applying AI for operational and process improvements are encouraged to apply
• Preferably five years of relevant experience
• Able to work effectively under pressure
• Collaborates well in a team and navigates ambiguity
