Job Description

Responsibilities

Delivers orders to customers, represents the company to customers during deliveries and promotes quality of service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver and collect goods according to the assigned delivery schedule.
  • Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on time.
  • Load and unload goods safely, ensuring products are handled carefully to prevent damage.
  • Verify delivery orders, invoices, and customer acknowledgements before and after each delivery.
  • Obtain customer signatures and complete all required documentation.
  • Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any defects or maintenance requirements promptly.
  • Keep the assigned vehicle clean, roadworthy, and well-maintained.
  • Comply with all Singapore traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company policies.
  • Plan efficient delivery routes to maximize productivity and minimize delays.
  • Communicate delivery updates, delays, or issues to the transport coordinator.
  • Assist with warehouse activities, including loading, unloading, sorting, and stock movement, when required.
  • Handle customer enquiries professionally and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Maintain proper care of company assets, including vehicles, fuel cards, mobile devices, and delivery equipment.

Requirements

  • Valid Singapore Class 3 or Class 4 Driving Licence (depending on vehicle assigned).
  • Clean driving record with a strong commitment to safe driving.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of delivery driving experience preferred.
  • Physically fit and able to lift and move heavy goods.
  • Good knowledge of Singapore roads and delivery routes.
  • Ability to use GPS navigation and mobile delivery applications.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Responsible, punctual, and customer-oriented.
