Job Summary The role is responsible for ensuring guest rooms and public areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene and presentation while promoting operational efficiency and delivering excellent guest service. Key Responsibilities • Assist the Housekeeping Manager in planning, organising and supervising the daily operations of the Housekeeping Department. • Monitor the cleanliness and presentation of guest rooms, public areas and back-of-house areas to ensure compliance with the resort's standards. • Supervise housekeeping associates and provide guidance to ensure quality service and operational efficiency. • Conduct routine inspections and implement corrective actions to maintain housekeeping standards. • Prepare staff duty rosters and coordinate daily work assignments. • Monitor housekeeping inventory, linen and cleaning supplies, and ensure adequate stock levels are maintained. • Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene and infection prevention procedures. • Carry out any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the immediate superior. Job Requirements • Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred. • Minimum 3 years' experience in housekeeping operations, with supervisory experience preferred. • Good knowledge of housekeeping procedures, cleaning standards and quality control. • Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills. • Good planning, organising and problem-solving abilities. • Computer literate, with basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. • Able to work shifts, weekends and public holidays when required. • Positive attitude with a commitment to delivering excellent service.
