We are looking for an experienced AI & Machine Learning Specialist to drive data-driven innovation and accelerate the adoption of Artificial Intelligence across the business. In this role, you will design and deploy predictive machine learning models, develop Generative AI (GenAI) and Large Language Model (LLM) solutions, and transform complex data into actionable business insights. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will play a key role in building scalable AI capabilities, improving operational efficiency, and shaping the organization's AI strategy while ensuring responsible and compliant AI practices.

Job Description

• Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models for predictive analytics, forecasting, customer behaviour, and business insights.
• Analyse data to identify trends and translate findings into actionable recommendations for business stakeholders.
• Develop and evaluate Generative AI (GenAI) and Large Language Model (LLM) solutions to improve business processes and productivity.
• Prototype AI applications such as chatbots, copilots, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions.
• Evaluate AI technologies, tools, and vendors, providing recommendations on the most suitable solutions.
• Ensure AI solutions comply with PDPA, data privacy, and responsible AI best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and implement AI-driven solutions.
• Establish AI development standards, documentation, and governance to support future team growth.
• Monitor the performance and business impact of deployed AI and machine learning solutions, driving continuous improvement.
• Stay up to date with emerging AI, machine learning, and data analytics technologies, identifying opportunities for innovation.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in Machine Learning, Data Analytics, AI, or a related field, with proven experience deploying predictive models in a production environment.
• Proficient in Python, SQL, statistical analysis, predictive modelling, and A/B testing.
• Hands-on experience with Generative AI (GenAI) and Large Language Models (LLMs), including RAG, vector databases, prompt engineering, and AI-assisted development tools.
• Familiar with MLOps practices, including model deployment, monitoring, and version control.
• Strong understanding of retail/FMCG business analytics, customer behaviour, demand forecasting, and AI data privacy (PDPA/PII).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
