Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site R&D role based in Bandar Teknologi Kajang, Selangor, Malaysia. The Research and Development (R&D) Professional will contribute to the ideation, development, and testing of new food products, ensuring innovation and quality align with company standards. Key responsibilities include conducting research on food trends, developing recipes or formulations, performing product testing, and collaborating with production teams to bring products to market. The role also involves maintaining documentation, ensuring compliance with food safety standards, and supporting product improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in Product Development, Packaging Development, Technical

Services, or R&D within a manufacturing environment.

• Strong research skills and the ability to identify food trends and consumer preferences.
• Proficiency in product development, recipe formulation, and food innovation methods.
• Knowledge of food testing processes, quality assurance, and compliance with food safety standards.
• Experience in collaborating with production teams and adapting formulations for scale-up.
• Critical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective reporting and collaboration.
• Relevant qualifications in Food Science, Culinary Arts, or related disciplines are highly desirable.
• Previous experience in the food manufacturing industry, particularly in Asian cuisine, is an advantage.
