Our client, a well-established company in the financial services industry, is looking for experienced Senior QA Automation Engineers to join its growing technology team based in Damansara, Petaling Jaya.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in QA Automation.
• Proven experience as a Senior QA Automation Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver and BDD frameworks such as Behave or Cucumber.
• Experience designing, building, and maintaining scalable automation frameworks.
• Solid experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Strong expertise in API automation testing using Postman or similar tools.
• Experience implementing test data management strategies.
• Experience testing real-time systems, trading platforms, or event-driven architectures is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of BDD methodologies, Gherkin syntax, and maintainable automation design.
• Experience troubleshooting and stabilising flaky automated tests.
• Understanding of CI/CD quality gates and automation metrics.
• Exposure to AI-driven testing or AI-assisted development workflows is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical, communication, leadership, and mentoring skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for project features and user stories.
• Design, build, and enhance scalable test automation frameworks.
• Define and enforce automation standards, coding guidelines, and BDD best practices.
• Integrate and maintain automation suites within CI/CD pipelines, including regression, smoke, and quality gate testing.
• Develop and maintain API automation while ensuring comprehensive validation across UI, API, and database layers.
• Establish effective test data management strategies to improve test reliability and reusability.
• Drive test stability, execution performance, and automation parallelisation.
• Implement AI-assisted test generation and automation improvements where applicable.
• Conduct code reviews and automation script reviews to ensure framework quality and maintainability.
• Identify quality risks and recommend effective solutions to improve software quality.
• Mentor and support team members on automation frameworks and QA best practices.
• Maintain test documentation, dashboards, reports, and automation metrics.

Pay: Up to RM11,000.00 per month
