About the Role
Pathgreen Energy is looking for a dedicated Wireman to join our Operation & Maintenance (O&M) team. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing commercial and industrial solar PV systems to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and safety.

This position is ideal for candidates who enjoy hands-on electrical work, field service, and working with renewable energy technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on Solar PV systems.
• Carry out inspections, testing, troubleshooting, and repairs of electrical equipment and components.
• Diagnose electrical faults and rectify system issues efficiently.
• Ensure all solar PV systems operate safely and at optimum performance.
• Follow daily work schedules and maintenance plans assigned by your superior.
• Monitor site performance and identify systems requiring further observation or corrective action.
• Install, replace, and upgrade electrical components, including three-phase electrical systems.
• Operate electrical testing instruments to verify system functionality and identify faults.
• Read and interpret electrical single-line diagrams, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Complete service reports, maintenance records, work orders, and documentation accurately.
• Manage company tools, spare parts, and inventory (stock in/out).
• Observe all safety procedures and comply with company HSE policies while working on-site.
• Perform physically demanding tasks, including climbing ladders, working at heights, and lifting equipment.
• Carry out any other duties assigned by Management.

Requirements

• Possess a valid PW2, PW4, or SKM Electrical certification (mandatory).
• Experience in electrical wiring, installation, maintenance, or troubleshooting is preferred.
• Fresh graduates with the required certification are encouraged to apply.
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting techniques.
• Experience in Solar PV systems is an added advantage, but training will be provided.
• Willing to travel and be stationed at project sites as required.
• Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors and at heights.
• Possess a positive attitude, good teamwork, and willingness to learn.
• Own a motorcycle or car with a valid driving licence.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,300.00 per month
