Responsibilities
Job Decription
· Develop and maintain strong relationships with employees and union representatives (if applicable) to foster trust and collaboration.
· Ensure full compliance with employment-related laws and regulations such as the Employment Act, Industrial Relations Act, Trade Union Act, etc.
· Monitor updates in labor laws and advise management on necessary changes in policies and procedures.
· Promote a positive and respectful workplace culture by implementing employee engagement strategies.
· Serve as a key contact point for resolving workplace conflicts and maintaining employee morale.
· Facilitate communication between management and employees to ensure mutual understanding and alignment.
· Handle staff grievances in a confidential and impartial manner, conducting investigations when required.
· Manage the end-to-end disciplinary process including issuing warning letters, conducting domestic inquiries, and ensuring procedural fairness.
· Document all disciplinary actions accurately and ensure actions taken are legally compliant and consistent.
· Maintain and update employee relations documentation including grievances, investigations, and disciplinary actions.
· Prepare monthly IR reports and analysis for management review.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM2,700.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
